Human Resources Talent Coordinator

(Fully Remote)

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Talent Coordinator will provide support to the human resources (HR) talent management and development center of excellence. This position will provide customer service to staff as related to new hire questions, orientation, training and development, cyclical process questions, and employee departures. This position may also support recruitment efforts as needed.

Position Responsibilities:

Talent Management, Training, and Development

  • Lead short-term and long-term special projects related to talent management and development
  • Support organizational training and development, including coordinating training opportunities, registration, participation tracking, development of content, scheduling, providing resources, etc.
  • Support processes and planning related professional development plans and promotions

Employee Onboarding, Orientation, and Offboarding

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding efforts
  • Coordinate and conduct quarterly employee orientation
  • Conduct check-in meetings with new employees and supervisors
  • Conduct employee offboarding processes, including offboarding requests, exit interviews, metrics, and reporting

HR Communications and Support

  • Communicate and present information/updates both written and verbally to all staff
  • Support interview processes on behalf of the HR team (interviews)
  • Support HR team members and assist with ad hoc projects, as needed
  • Participate in development and execution of HR department goals, objectives, and systems with HR team members
  • Assist Recruiter as needed with requisition process
  • Serve as backup to the HR Operations Coordinator
  • Assist with the conversion of paper, spreadsheet, and legacy processes to digital platforms
  • Research, identify and share best practices related to HR
  • Triage requests coming into the HR team

Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have the ability to address all HR issues with the utmost confidentiality and with decorum.
  • Demonstrated verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, and multitask.
  • Skilled at interacting appropriately with a diverse group of employees and candidates in fast paced environment.
  • Desire to learn and be up to date on current HR practices and trends.
  • Ability to perform with flexibility and with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Position Qualifications:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least two years of previous experience within HR required
  • Experience with payroll/payroll systems helpful
  • Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must be motivated to learn and to take on new challenges
  • Experience in a professional services environment preferred
