Marketing Coordinator (Remote)

The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) is looking for a creative, resourceful, and detail-orientated Marketing Coordinator to join our passionate Marketing/Communications team. As Marketing Coordinator, you will support the IHI Marketing/Communications team across multiple integrated marketing projects, social media management, and strategic initiatives. You must be comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple projects and priorities, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be comfortable working collaboratively and independently - overall, you will need to be good at getting a lot done.

  • Support in the development, implementation, and analyzing of integrated marketing campaigns and projects, by contributing to various stages of the marketing cycle through:
    • Email marketing campaigns - building lists, writing, proofreading, and editing copy, selecting appropriate images/creative
    • Paid media campaigns - editing and proof-reading ad copy, developing assets
    • Maintaining a schedule and writing copy for IHI paid products in IHI newsletters
    • Updating reporting dashboards
  • Play an integral role in the IHI Social Media team - scheduling, posting, writing, and engaging across IHI Social Media platforms
  • Editing and proof-reading presentation decks and other customer-facing materials
  • Updating and writing copy for webpages across
  • Supporting the team with delivering market insights and social listening reports
  • Manage departmental budget tracking and expense reports
  • Coordinate exhibitor and sponsorship deliverables at external events
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office product suite
  • Photoshop experience a plus
  • Experience with HubSpot (or other marketing automation software), Google Analytics, SproutSocial (or other social media software) and Content Management Systems a plus.


  • 1-3 years of marketing experience (can include internships)
  • Passion for IHI's mission, mission-driven work, and commitment to equity
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
